On June 2, 2022, The Supreme Court of Florida, on its own motion, amended Rule 5.4 allowing for “not for-profit legal service providers to organize as a corporation and to permit nonlawyers to serve on [a] not-for-profit legal service provider’s board of directors”. That opinion can be found HERE.
On February 17, 2022 The Supreme Court of Florida modified Rule 5.5 to allow remote work in Florida without a license to practice law in Florida. See the Opinion HERE.
