On October 3rd 2024, The Indiana supreme court issued an Order on Interim recommendations made by the commission on Indiana’s legal future.
The Indiana Supreme Court approved the recommendation to establish a legal regulatory sandbox, which will be developed by the Court’s Innovation Committee. This sandbox is intended to explore innovative legal service delivery models and address access-to-justice challenges, particularly for individuals with modest means. The Court has directed the Innovation Committee to develop the parameters for this sandbox and submit them for approval by March 1, 2025.
